From Leipzig… to London

We look forward to a summer feast of the European high baroque with this concert on 28 August by the dynamic and exciting young ensemble Convivio.

From Leipzig to London is part of a tour through the European grand baroque of the eighteenth century from the London of Purcell and Handel to Paris under Louis XV with Rameau, on to Telemann in Leipzig and finally to the sunshine of Venice and Vivaldi.

Convivio’s masterful and acclaimed performances have been enjoyed in venues ranging from the Chapel Royal at Hampton Court Palaceto mission churches in the Bolivian jungle.
