Brandon Hill Chamber Orchestra
Ignas Maknickas piano
The Brandon Hill Chamber Orchestra will be joined by pianist Ignas Maknickas to perform one of Mozart’s most enchanting Piano Concertos. Californian born and Lithuanian raised, Ignas received The Queen’s Commendation for Excellence in 2021 and is First Prize winner of a host of prestigious music competitions across Europe. Also in the programme will be Haydn’s sixth symphony Le Matin. Composed in 1761, shortly after joining the court of Prince Paul II Anton Esterházy who gave Haydn the challenge of composing a work on the theme of ‘three different times of the day.
